Seattle Home Value
For about the last 15 years, the West Coast has fallen in love with Seattle. Many residents of other cities have become disillusioned with their homes and packed up and moved north to the Emerald City. They have followed the money trail left behind by such financial powers as Starbucks, Amazon.com and Microsoft. The home owners of the Seattle area have profited immensely from their relocation. The average Seattle home value has skyrocketed to all time highs in recent years, and the locals could not be happier. Homes that they purchased just years before are worth considerably more than what they paid for them.
As far as the home owners are concerned, things could not be better. That doesn’t really hold true for those looking to purchase a home though. People who are new to the area have found themselves paying immense amounts for homes that were a fraction of the price just years ago. However, if you want to live in a city that offers as much as Seattle, you have to be willing to pay for it, and apparently people are. They have decided that the cost of living in an area as great as the Pacific Northwest is worth it. Seattle has been rated as one of the best cities to live in, in the United States for the past several years. Most people in the area agree that the price of real estate is just one of the sacrifices that must be made in order to live in Seattle. It’s a sacrifice, but its well worth it.
